For the fifth year in a row, the Macatawa Water Festival will be held on Holland’s Windmill Island, hosted by the Outdoor Discovery Center! Over 30 community partners and sponsors will come together to offer water activities and educational experiences designed to engage both young and old to learn about restoring and preserving our lake and watershed.
Kayak or bike around the island, fish for trout (youth under 17yrs old), learn about native and invasive plants, make an upcycled craft, and perform water quality experiments. Meijer will provide seasonal fresh fruit from local farmers!
Holland BPW will be at the festival offering educational activities about water conservation.
Volunteers are welcome: Register online or contact Ashley Van Zee with the ODC at (616) 368-9289 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
No registration necessary for the free general event.
